AI-Animation

AI has changed how fast we can explore, iterate and scale. It hasn't changed who decides what's good. Our AI-animation service pairs generative tools with senior artists so you get the speed without the uncanny.

The honest version of "AI animation" in 2026: the tools are extraordinary at some things and unreliable at others. Our job is knowing which is which, and building a pipeline around it.

Where AI genuinely helps

  • Exploration. Style directions, character variations and colour scripts that used to take a week of concept art now take a day. You see more options earlier, and the ones you pick are then designed properly by hand.
  • In-betweening and clean-up. In 2D, AI-assisted tweening between key drawings cuts production time dramatically on dialogue-heavy or long-form content. Keys are still drawn by animators; in-betweens are reviewed and corrected by them.
  • Backgrounds and textures. Generative environments as a base, then art-directed, repainted and composited to match the world.
  • Localisation. With the voice actor's consent, cloned voices and AI lip-sync let one film become ten language versions without ten recording sessions — critical for pan-India campaigns.
  • Volume. Series, courses and social calendars where the constraint is output per week, not perfection per frame.

Where it doesn't — and what we do instead

Fully generated video still struggles with consistency: the same character drifting between shots, hands and text that don't hold up, motion that feels floaty. For hero content — a launch film, a brand mascot, anything that will be watched closely — we keep animation in the hands of animators and use AI only for the surrounding work. The result is faster than a purely traditional pipeline and looks nothing like a demo reel of a video generator.

Our rule: AI proposes, artists dispose. Every frame we deliver has been looked at, and if necessary fixed, by a human who is accountable for it.

Responsible by design

We use only tools licensed for commercial output, never reproduce third-party characters or styles, and keep a record of the tool chain for each project. If your brand or legal team has an AI policy, we will work inside it — or help you write one.

Frequently asked

Is AI-animation just prompting a video generator?
No. Fully generated video is inconsistent, hard to art-direct and often legally murky. We use AI where it is genuinely useful — exploration, in-betweening, backgrounds, localisation — inside a conventional pipeline with human animators and a human eye on every frame.
Who owns the output, and is it safe to use commercially?
We only use tools whose licences permit commercial use, we never train on or reproduce third-party IP, and all AI-generated elements are reworked by our artists. Deliverables are yours on final payment, and we document the tool chain if your legal team needs it.
When should I choose AI-animation over traditional?
When volume or speed is the constraint: a 60-lesson course library, weekly social series, or a campaign needing ten language versions. For a single hero film where every frame is scrutinised, traditional production is still the better investment — and we'll tell you that in the strategy session.
